Starting a business is one of the most difficult and dangerous things that we do today. Which is why 90% of startups fail. Being an entrepreneur is the modern version of discovering a new world, and if you don't know what you are doing, you will never complete the journey.

The entrepreneurs and discoverers that did succeed had a lot in common.

  • - Most importantly, they had a clear path to accomplish their vision.

These things may seem obvious, but the truth is, most of us start out all alone with nothing but an idea. So we have to find people and resources to help us and discover the right path along the way.

OpenOcean aims to change the way that we start businesses, by promoting collaboration to increase innovation. Our goal is to flip the statistic to 90% startup success by giving entrepreveurs a platform where they can turn ideas into successful businesses by joining together to achieve more.

OpenOcean is a global entrepreneurial network that feels familiar to the other social media that we have learned to love. But made specifically for founders, mentors, investors, advisors, educators, directors, and all entrepreneurial minded people that are willing to support each other.

On the network:

  • Users create their own profiles to showcase all of their personal information
  • Search for other Users and make connections
  • Interact by posting content, linking, commenting, or sharing other Users' posts
  • Send messages to other Users

But building the network is only part of the problem. The important part is how we actually support one another and build successful businesses.
